Absolute:
a highly concentrated viscous, semi-solid or solid perfume material, usually obtained by alcohol extraction from the concrete.
Acid:
a compound usually having an sour taste and capable of neutralizing alkalis, containing hydrogen that can be replaced by a metal or an electropositive group to form a salt, or containing an atom that can accept a pair of electrons from a base.
Algae: any of numerous groups of eukaryotic one-celled organisms that contain chlorophyll, usually flourish in aquatic or wet environments, and lack true roots, stems, or leaves, including seaweeds and many plankton.
Alkali: see base.
Allergy: hypersensitivity caused by a foreign substance, small doses of which produce a violent bodily reaction.
Analgesic: remedy to relieve or deaden pain.
Antibiotic: prevents the growth of, or destroys, bacteria.
