Bactericidal: an agent that destroys bacteria ( a type of microbe or organism).
Balsam:
a resinous semi-solid mass or viscous liquid exuded from a plant, which can be either a pathological or physiological product. A "true" balsam is characterized by its high content of benzoic acid, benzoates, cinnamic acid or cinnamates.
Balsamic: a soothing medicine or application having the qualities of a balsam.
Base: a chemical compound that reacts with an acid to form a salt.
Beeswax: Secretion by the worker bee from special glands on the underside of her body, used to build the home in which bees live. Use: face/hand creams, lipsticks, lip salves, tablet coatings, pharmaceutical industry, candles.
Bee Venom: the product of the bee's sting.
Benzoin: 1.reddish-brown balsamic resin obtained from certain storax trees, used in medicine and perfumery
2. any plant belonging to the genus Lindera (Benzoin), of the Laurel family, as the spice bush.
