Calmative: a sedative.
Carcinogen:
any substance or agent that tends to produce cancer.
Cardiac: pertaining to the heart.
Carotene: any of three yellow or orange fat soluble pigments having the formula C40 H56, found in many plants, especially carrots, and transformed into vitamin A in the liver.
Carminitive: settles the digestive system, relieves flatulence.
Cellulite: accumulation of toxic matter in the form of fat in the tissue.
Cephalic: remedy for disorders of the head.
Chlorophyll: the green pigment of plant leaves and algae, essential to their production of carbohydrates by photosynthesis.
Cholesterol: a steroid alcohol found in nervous tissue, red blood cells, animal fat and bile. Excess can lead to gall stones.
