Gastritis:

inflammation of stomach lining.

Germicidal:

destroys germs or micro-organisms such as bacteria.

Glycerin:

the chemical end product of three hydroxide ions reacting with glycerol.

Grapefruit Seed Extract:

an all vegetable antioxidant used in the soap making process to extend the shelf life of superfatted soaps; a by product of the citrus industry.

Gum Resin:

a sticky, polysaccharide substance, gelatinous when moist, hard when dry, and water-soluble; found in the leaves, bark, and roots of various resin secreting plants. Essential oils are distilled from gum resin.

Gum Benzoin:

a particular kind of gum from the botanical source Styrax benzoin with antioxidant, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties.
