Physiological: describes the natural biological processes of a living organism.
Phytotherapy:
the treatment of disease by plants, herbal medicine.
Pollen: substance collected by bees from flowers, used after being dried or frozen, in natural remedies and food supplements.
Polyunsaturated fatty acid: fatty acid having many unsaturated double bonds: in vegetable oils, associated with low cholesterol content in the blood.
Preservative: chemical substance used to resist or prevent decomposition in food or other organic materials.
Propolis: a reddish resinous cement collected by bees from the buds of trees, used to stop up crevices in the hives. Used as an exfoliant in the soap, it is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, and is believed to have antifungal, healing and protective properties.
Prostaglandin: any of a class of unsaturated fatty acids that are involved in the contraction of smooth muscle, the control of inflammation and body temperature.
