Stimulant: an agent that quickens the physiological functions of the body.
Synergy:
the working together of two things (muscles or drugs for example) to produce an effect greater than the sum of their individual effects.
Surfactant: a surface active agent that reduces surface tension of water, helping water to be absorbed rather than form tiny, tight, droplets. Soap is a surfactant.
Superfatted: refers to soap whose oils have not all been converted by lye into soap, remaining partially unsaponified, leaving a thin layer of oil to help protect, soften, and nourish the skin. Superfatted soaps can be produced by adding nutrients late in the process, by adding less lye than needed to convert all the oils to soap, or by using natural oils containing a high proportion of unsaponifiables.
