It has been claimed that skin problems are often the surface manifestations of deeper conditions, such as build-up of toxins in the blood, hormonal imbalance or nervous and emotional difficulties. In support of seeking professional help, we at Hummingbird also believe in the value of incorporating into our daily personal care healthy, wholesome, skin and body products which include pure essential oils. Soluble in oil and alcohol to impart their therapeutic qualities, while marrying their scent to water, they provide an ideal ingredient to skin care products. Essential oils have been blended principally for two different reasons: for their medicinal effects or to create a scent that delights or pleases the senses.

At Hummingbird, these are not two different categories but rather opposite ends of a scale. Careful attention has been given to each and every product we hand craft. It is our hope and intention to create blends of essential oils that have the mutually enhancing effect of offering soothing, supportive comfort and an esthetic peace.
