Bach Rescue Remedy

Dr. Edward Bach, a British physician who practiced during the 20th century, realized that treating the symptoms of an illness did not necessarily treat the cause of the illness. After studying homeopathy and pharmacology, Dr. Bach's research concentrated on flower and plant extracts.

During the early years of 1930, he produced a package of 38 flower extracts, numbered according to their alphabetical order, that he divided into seven categories. Each category was aimed at treating the manifestations of a particular emotional disorder, which he felt was responsible for causing physical disease.

Dr. Bach gave specific instructions for the diagnosis of diseases, and the preparation and administration of the remedies.

Dr. Bach also prepared what he called "Rescue Remedy," consisting of a combination of five extracts for emergency use. Rescue Remedy can be taken internally or massaged into the skin. As is true with all the Bach Remedies, Rescue Remedy is not in the least dangerous to health, and can be used with no deleterious effects.
