Carrot Seed Oil is distilled from the dried fruit (seeds). The seeds are first crushed, and then distilled with direct steam, care being taken that the steam does not form channels through the seed material in the still, which would result in substandard yields of oil.

Carrot Seed Oil is yellow or amber, and has a somewhat earthy-dry woody scent. Initial undertones are sweet and fresh.

Carrot Seed Oil may be found in many formulas dealing with skin conditions ranging from revitalizing and toning to eczema and ageing.
