Honey

Bees collect nectar from a variety of different flowers. Stored nectar in the hive is in a concentrated form, and is what we call honey. Surplus honey is collected by beekeepers and sold as a food product. Honey has wonderful anti-bacterial qualities and has been used for years to treat wounds and burns! In the soap and cosmetic making industry, honey is used for its wonderful moisturizing qualities. The extra bonus is, it inhibits the growth of bacteria.

Bee Honey contains caratenoids, Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, biotin, folic acid, copper, manganese, phosphorus, calcium, sulfur, iron, and potassium. As with any bee product, beeswax, propolis, honey, royal jelly, pollen, and bee venom may provoke an allergic reaction in a susceptible individual. We recommend you do not use products containing these ingredients if you suffer from asthma or anaphylaxis.
