Klamath blue-green algae are harvested from the Upper Klamath Lake in Oregon, where 7,000 years ago volcanic eruption created a new and perfect ecosystem. Crystal clear waters feed this lake, which covers approximately 30 feet of volcanic ash deposits of minerals and trace elements.
