Airtight coverings such as nylon or plastic. Allow baby's skin to breathe in the open air whenever possible. |

Commercial baby wipes: Most are not moist enough to clean well without excessive rubbing, friction and irritation; and their cleansing agents may dry or irritate skin. |

Scented or strong detergents or soaps, and liquid fabric softeners: They all can irritate baby's sensitive skin. |

Talc: a potential carcinogenic that can be harmful to your baby's lungs. |
